For the Village
As a matter of fact, our Parent Company has fully financed the conception and construction of the Arsenal Link Road to Motorway, also known as Guy Rosemont Street in the Year 2001. This road greatly helps the general public, the Guy Rosemont Street act as a reliever to Arsenal- Terre Rouge Road in terms of Traffic Volume.
Furthermore, the link Road is paved with suitable materials to ensure maximum safety to pedestrians. The residents of Bois Marchand Village now have easier access to Arsenal Village due to a recently built Road Bridge in the Motorway.
Traffic lights were also financed to ensure smooth traffic movement for road users who are either leaving the road in direction of Terre Rouge or Triolet.
For National Transport
MSWL becomes the first Logistics Service Provider in the Republic of Mauritius to do the in-bound Transportation and Haulage of Light Railway Vehicles (LRVs/Trams) from the Port Area ,Port Louis to Metro Express Railway Depot in Richelieu.
This Milestone Light Railway Vehicle Transportation Project was undertaken in a Business Venture together with DSV Sea & Air S.A.U, a Global Conglomerate in Freight forwarding, Warehousing, Contract logistics, 3PL or 4PL businesses.
While DSV Sea & Air, S.A.U was responsible for the haulage of the LRVs from the Manufacturing Plant, Spain and its trans-shipment to Mauritius, MSWL’s undertaking was for the in-bound Transportation and Haulage of the same from the Port Area, Port Louis to Metro Express Depot in Richelieu.
